Civil Engineer and Urban Planner, Waste Concern

Iftekhar Enayetullah is the Co-Founder and Director of Waste Concern. Waste Concern is a research-based organization that conducts research, training, and experiments in the sectors of policy development, solid waste management, recycling, sanitation, climate change mitigation, industrial pollution control, and circular economy. Iftekhar holds a degree in Civil Engineering and Urban and Regional Planning and is a recognized Ashoka Fellow. Among many awards, Iftekhar is a recipient of the UN Poverty Eradication Award, the Intel Environment Award, the Tech Laureate Award, and the Government of Bangladesh's Environment Award for his work with Waste Concern.
