Biomedical Engineer, Ph.D. Student in the Laboratory of Bio-inspired, Bionic, Nano, Meta Materials & Mechanics, at the University of Trento (Italy). Ilaria is working on possible solutions for the regeneration of damaged spinal cord tissue.
She is a volunteer of Associazione di Volontariato 'Opero Silente' ODV, which takes care of people with disabilities. Art, books and movies are her favourite hobbies. Ilaria loves sports, expecially running, swimming, hiking and tennis.

I became part of the Global Shapers family in November 2019 and I am now Curator of Trento Hub 2020-2021.
