As a Software Engineer at G42, working for Emirati Genome Program, supporting efforts to map the UAE’s genetic diversity and improve the healthcare system through personalized medicine and better disease prevention strategies.

In 2020, he built BEN Library, an audio library for school audiobooks for the visually impaired, which bridges the education gap for 95% of children who never attended school in Sudan, creating new learning opportunities while reducing educational material costs compared to Braille.

Beyond engineering, Imad is deeply committed to social impact. As an Impact Officer at the Abu Dhabi Global Shapers Community and a Delegate at the Young AI Leaders Community (ITU) – Abu Dhabi Hub, he actively contributes to shaping technology for the greater good.
