J. J. Enoch

Global Shaper, Abuja Hub

Jeremiah John 'JJ' Enoch is a Scholar at St. Antony's College, University of Oxford, where he is pursuing an MSc in African Studies. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from Bowen University, Iwo, Nigeria. Enoch is a Venture in Management Programme (ViMP) alumnus from Africa's top management school, Lagos Business School, and a member of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung's 2021 Open Minds Young Voices cohort. He is currently an African Liberty Writing Fellow. Enoch has extensive knowledge of development, public policy, governance, African affairs, and international politics. He has worked on similar issues across fifteen West African nations. He used to work at the Aig-Imoukhuede Foundation, where he helped build the Aig-Imoukhuede Public Sector Performance Index, Nigeria's first-ever index that evaluates the performance of public institutions. As a member of the Global Shapers Community's Abuja Hub, Enoch created the curriculum for the hub's first-ever mentorship program for Nile University students in Nigeria. He used to be the Hub's 'Abuja Dialogue Series' Lead, and he now co-leads the hub's 'Meet the Future' project and is a member of its recruitment team.
