As a tech lawyer, James helps organisations to navigate the legal, commercial and ethical challenges associated with the digital economy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
He is passionate about seeing the business, government and community sectors working together to drive change, having co-founded a social enterprise consultancy in Tanzania and a youth-led consultancy in Australia.
James has advised multi-national corporations, start-ups, government departments and not-for-profits on digital, data and privacy-related legal compliance, presented on a variety of topics from AI liability to the GDPR, participated in public debates on economic and political issues and co-founded the Monash Future Thinkers initiative, which brings together the latest thinking across a range to disciplines to get people talking about the future we want to create.
