Early 1980s, Adviser to the Minister of State of Haiti on Financial, Economic and Industrial Affairs. 1986-90, at SOFIHDES, a private development finance company in Haiti; became Managing Director; concurrently, Professor of Mathematics, Statistics and Managerial and Corporate Finance, State University of Haiti. 1990-2000, with the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC), eventually responsible for all operations in Mexico, the Andean countries, Central America, Belize and Panama. 2000, joined the International Finance Corporation (IFC) as Chief Investment Officer, Financial Markets, covering West and Central Africa; 2001, Manager, Financial Markets, sub-Saharan Africa; later, Manager, East Africa, Nairobi; 2008-12, Director, Eastern and Southern Africa; Co-Director, Africa Department; former Director, Latin America and the Caribbean; currently, Vice-President, sub-Saharan Africa, Latin America and the Caribbean.
