Jesús "Chuy" Cepeda is a technology entrepreneur with a PhD in artificial intelligence. Everything he builds serves one conviction — making AI's biggest promise real: true autonomy, the kind that ends in creative freedom for people and institutions, not chaos.

Two threads have been converging in his work for over a decade. One is artificial intelligence: his 2012 doctoral dissertation on the coordination of multiple autonomous agents, years before the industry had a name for them. The other is cryptographic trust: a decade implementing blockchain primitives for governments across Latin America — 20+ deployments giving 8M+ citizens one verifiable identity — and now giving agents the identity and mandates the agentic era runs on.

Today he builds the full ladder from AI clarity to true autonomy: as an educator and consultant, he helps leaders onboard AI with purpose, not panic; with The-AIOS, he gives people a governed team of AI agents that actually knows them and their work; and as co-founder of Sovra, The Identity Stack, he builds the proof layer where humans and agents act on mathematical proof, not blind faith.

At the World Economic Forum he is a Young Global Leader, having earlier served as a Global Shaper. Privately, he lives on the forest outskirts in the north of Mexico, with his family and his plants, homeschooling his professional dancer daughters — and writing about leadership, entrepreneurship, and staying clear while everything accelerates, as a founder in the middle of the week.
