Trained initially as a Neuroscientist, National Institute for Medical Research, London; postdoctoral training at Stanford and Duke. 1998, changed direction and embarked on a career in science administration, joining the Wellcome Trust; has held a number of roles within the organization, including Head of Neuroscience & Mental Health and Head of Clinical Activities; currently, Head of Science Strategy, Performance and Impact.
