Josef Skoldeberg

Josef oversees commercial advocacy for GE with the U.S. Government and international forums. Previously, he managed public affairs for GE on trade, infrastructure finance, energy and sustainability. Josef joined GE from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), the private sector arm of the World Bank Group, where he was head of external affairs for infrastructure and natural resources. Josef led IFC’s positioning and stakeholder engagement for power, telecoms, transportation, renewable energy, water and extractive industries. Josef also served as a research associate at the Center for Strategy and Competitiveness in Stockholm where he focused on the economies of the Baltic Sea Region. Josef holds a Master’s degree from the Stockholm School of Economics and Bachelor’s degrees from the University of Texas at Austin.
