Formerly: 15 years as Chair, World Arts and Cultures, UCLA, transforming an undergraduate interdepartmental programme into the Department of World Arts and Cultures; 1995, founded UCLA Center for Intercultural Performance; 1996-2007, produced and directed Asia-Pacific Performing Arts Exchange Fellowship programme; 1990, Co-Curator, Los Angeles Festival; 1999-2011, directed World Festival of Sacred Music; has produced and administered several international tours; active in developing, directing and producing documentary films; Research Professor, UCLA. Currently, President, Foundation for World Arts, a US-based non-profit; concurrently, working on upcoming project that includes a tour of Javanese artists to the US in spring 2014.
