Jürgen Rittersberger began his career in 1999 when he worked as Business Administration Manager at Philipp Holzmann Grundbesitz GmbH. In 2001, he joined DIBAG Industriebau AG as Head of Controlling.
From 2002 he held several positions at Porsche, starting out with Strategic Projects and Mergers & Acqisitions in 2006. In 2010 he was appointed General Secretary Porsche AG, in which capacity he was also responsible for Business Development.
At the end of 2015, he received general power of attorney at Porsche AG.
Rittersberger joined Volkswagen AG in September 2018 as General Secretary and Senior Vice President Group Strategy. In this position, he reports to Herbert Diess, Chairman of the Board of Management of Volkswagen AG.
He studied Business Information Systems at the Mannheim University.
