Juliana Bitarabeho is passionate about healthcare and her role at the East, Central and Southern Africa College of Physicians (ECSACOP) is centred around ensuring the strategic sustainability of the college. ECSACOP aims to improve access to well-trained physicians across the region by establishing a network of training centres and implementing an internationally recognised postgraduate medical qualification. The college will ultimately improve health outcomes for the region’s 200 million inhabitants, focusing on centres serving the rural population.

Juliana is able to engage her passion for education & future leaders through her volunteering work. She works with students & change makers from around the globe through her work with the United World Colleges (UWC). Juliana currently sits on the UWC International Council as well as the Ugandan National Selection Committee. She also mentors, provides technical assistance and leadership to local youth groups.
