Julie is the Executive Director of Internet Sans Frontières, a digital rights advocacy organization based in France. She is also a Fellow at the Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, and a Digital Civil Society Fellow at Stanford University. At the intersection of Business and Human Rights, she is working on a solution to limit the spread of disinformation and hate speech on social media in Africa, through the inclusion of local context in moderation processes of content platforms. Julie often writes about Technology and Politics, she has a regular column in African affairs magazine Jeune Afrique. You can also watch her analyze the news on international channels, including Al Jazeera, BBC, CGTN, France 24, and Russia Today. Julie holds a master’s degree in International Administration from La Sorbonne, and is on temporary leave from the Paris Bar.
