Jung Hwan Kim

Director, Presidential Committee on Green Growth

Engineering and technology background from Korea; MBA Studies from the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge (UK), where he studied innovation and entrepreneurship from social and sustainable perspectives and corporate social responsibility. Master in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum. Worked for the World Economic Forum as Global Leadership Fellow covering the region of Asia Pacific. After this post, Jung Hwan served for the Presidential Committee on Green Growth (Korea) as Director of East Asia Climate Partnership (EACP) Initiative which is the Korean government’s climate action fund for developing countries (2009-2011). He directed the development and coordination of this government-wide program to mobilize necessary public and private resources to help mitigate climate challenges throughout the Asia region. He was also involved with the organizational setup and building strategic partnerships for the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) at its early stage. Currently, Jung Hwan Kim is a Senior Program Manager in the Public-Private Cooperation Unit at GGGI, where he is leading the Institute’s private sector engagement program.
