Kakha Kaladze

Mayor of Tbilisi, City Hall of Tbilisi

Was born on 27 February 1978 in Samtredia. Started sporting career at the age of 11, in “Lokomotivi” Samtredia FC as a center forward. In 2001 became most expensive Georgian player, as AC Milan paid 16 million Euros transfer fees. He has been playing for AC Milan for 9 years.

Titles won: Serie A: 2003–04, Coppa Italia 2002–03, Italian Super cup, 2004 UEFA Champions League: 2003, 2007, UEFA Super Cup:2003, 2007, FIFA Club World Cup:2007. He was nominated Georgian footballer of the year 5 times. Before Milan was playing for “Dinamo Kyev” and “Dinamo Tbilisi”.

Since 2011 member of the political council of the Political union “Georgian Dream- Democratic Georgia”. In the parliamentary elections of 2012, was nominated as a single mandate candidate from Samtredia region and same time was leading the electoral list of political coalition “Georgian Dream”.

From October 25, 2012 holding the position of Vice prime Minister and Minister of Energy and from 25 October 2013, Secretary General of the ruling political party “Georgian Dream”

From 2008 member of the Supervisory board in “Progress Bank”

In 2007 established charity foundation “KALA Fund”

In 2007 Established International Investment Group “Kala Capital”
