Karen Davila is a News Anchor, Correspondent and Radio Commentator for ABS-CBN, the largest television network in the Philippines. She has received numerous awards as a broadcast journalist and documentarist for her programme, "The Correspondents", including the UNICEF Child Rights Award and The Outstanding Young Men award of the Philippines. She is an advocate for women and children and is the Country Goodwill Ambassador for World Vision, an international non-government organization that educates poor children; she currently serves as a Board Member for the organization. She was also a Youth Ambassador and continues to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity. In February 2009, she was invited to speak at the Harvard Project for Asia and International Relations conference in Boston on "Gender Equality of Women in Asia".
