Karina Gabela is currently an alumnus and the former Curator of Quito Hub 2023. Half Brazilian, Half Ecuadorian. She holds a degree in Law, a Master's in Transnational Law, and an LLM in Law within a European and Global Context. Former Director of Special Economic Zones and Free Zones at the Ministry of Production, Commerce, Investment, and Fisheries in Ecuador.

Currently living in São Paulo, Brazil, and pursuing a MA in Public Administration and Public Policy at FGV.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Karina is passionate about travel, immersing herself in new cultures, and volunteering in her community.
