Formerly the Director and Chief of Staff, Office of the President, Global Development; served as an extension of the president, managed relationships with critical partnerships, and lead the Emergency Management Relief strategy. Currently the Director of Family Planning and oversees the development of strategies to address the obstacles that the world's poorest women face in gaining access to family planning information and services.

Prior to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation: held key HR roles with various technology and consulting firms; Director, Organization Development, then Vice-President, International, Starbucks Coffee Company, leading the human resources function for Europe, Middle East, Africa, South America, Canada, and Asia.
