Co-Founder, Carnegie Learning; leads LearnLab, the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center (learnlab.org), leveraging computational approaches to identify the instructional conditions that cause robust student learning. Research goals are to understand human learning and creating educational technologies that increase student achievement. Author of more than 180 peer-reviewed publications. Recipient, many best paper awards; has been funded by over 30 grants.
