Dr. Volpp is a Professor of Medicine, Medical Ethics and Health Policy, and Health Care Management at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine and the Wharton School. He has published more than 100 papers in peer-reviewed journals and his work is widely covered in the international media. He is an elected member of the Institute of Medicine, National Academy of Sciences; a board-certified practicing physician; a contributing writer at the Journal of the American Medical Association; and a principal at VALHealth.
