Cultural activist and producer. Created the international world music festival, Rythme du Monde, a platform for musicians from Africa, the Caribbean and the Americas to present their works to Canadian audiences. 1992, with Canada Council for the Arts, developing policies and programmes to enable all Canadian artists, regardless of their cultural background, to have access to council support. 1993, Director, Programmes & Operations, Ghana national theatre, responsible for making it a home for artists and audiences of all ages and from all walks of life. 2004, Co-Founder, Institute for Music and Development. Chairperson, Arterial Network.
