Krunal Shah is a dedicated changemaker with a profound commitment to youth empowerment and social transformation. Recently, he was invited by the Ministry of Youth Affairs to serve as a mentor at the prestigious National Youth Festival. In this esteemed role, he had the honor of presenting the aspirations of millions of young individuals from Bharat to the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. As the Manager at Elixir Foundation he leads the UNICEF Partnership in the state of Gujarat for the "Adolescent and Young People's Initiative," making significant contributions to youth development in the region. Through collaborations with governments, multilateral institutions, corporates, and other CSOs, Krunal has successfully reached and impacted over a million youth both digitally and in person. In August 2023 he also became one of the core members for preparing the “Global Youth Position Paper” for the SDG Summit 2023 at United Nations General Assembly 2023 representing Bharat.
In August 2024 Krunal also graciously hosted a dialogue with Hon’ble Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya ji at the Impact with Youth Conclave on International Youth Day organised by UNICEF, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Elixir Foundation, YuWaah at UNICEF and United Nations in India. Also through class to career program he has closely worked with 50,000+ low income school students in Gujarat providing them better access to career opportunities and quality education
Krunal serves as the CEO of the Gujarat Youth Forum, an innovative and collaborative platform empowering and engaging youth in the state. Notably, he represented Bharat twice at the United Nations in Geneva through the World Economic Forum. In September 2022 and again in July 2024, he was also invited to participate in the High-Level Political Forum on SDG 2030 at the UN Headquarters in New York as a member of the Major Group of Children and Youth.
His remarkable work in youth future skilling through the "Accelerate" project, which trained over 1,00,000+ young people as part of the Global Shapers Community Ahmedabad, earned him recognition at the South Asia Regional Event of the World Economic Forum in Nepal. The Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, and the Narcotics Control Bureau have honored Krunal with the prestigious "Youth Icon Award" in acknowledgment of his dedication to combating drug abuse.
His national-level campaign designs and training programs have positively impacted over a million youths, resulting in his appointment as a Global Goodwill Ambassador.
Currently, Krunal serves as the Curator of the Global Shapers Community (Ahmedabad Hub), an initiative of the World Economic Forum. In 2023 he was recently named as Top 20 Influential Personalities Driving Positive Change in India.
Also Krunal was part of the Young Warrior Campaign during COVID19 by Ministry of Education, Government of India and YuWaah at UNICEF and United Nations in India bringing together 10 Million youth across India for Covid Appropriate Behaviour.
Krunal was the part of first youth advisory board member to UNICEF from 2021 -23 and recently he was amongst the 250 consultants from 192 countires for the PACT FOR THE FUTURE DOCUMENT adapted by United Nations General Assembly.
He has extensively also worked in the MUN Circuit of Gujarat, Youth Parliaments, Gender Equality, Climate Change and Sustainable Development.
Through his diverse roles and tireless dedication, Krunal continues to inspire and lead positive change in his community and beyond through Youth Empowerment.
