Liesel Mack Filgueiras is Vale`s general manager for Business and Human Rights since 2009, applying the UN Guiding Principles on Vale activities. From 2009 and 2011, she was responsible for Vale Indigenous Communities Relations, International Community Relations, Socioeconomy and Vale Volunteer Program. She has completed the Executive Training Program | Extractive Industries and Sustainable Development | Columbia Center on Sustainable Investment (CCSI); Vale Leadership Training by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT); she has a Master degree in Business Administration (MBA) (IAG - PUC-RIO) , a degree in Psychology (PUC-RIO) and was in an exchange program with the University of California, Berkeley.
