Local Myanmar businessman, U Htun Myint Naing @ Mr Steven Law founded Asia World Company in 1992. Under his stewardship, Steven grew the business from strength to strength over the last few decades, which saw its 25th anniversary in 2017.

With an early focus on the infrastructure sector, today, Asia World Company is renowned for its infrastructure -projects such as the Yangon International Airport, Nay Pyi Taw International Airport, Asia World Port Terminal, and Thaugyekat (2) Hydropower Plant.

The company also operates businesses across other key sectors such as construction, property development, hospitality, manufacturing, trading and distribution, and insurance.

Steven is also the Chairman of Asia World Foundation, the charitable arm of Asia World Company, formed with a vision to build generations of the future through education, healthcare and sports, as well as community development.

A keen sportsman himself, Steven actively champions sports development in the country. He serves as the Chairman of the Myanmar Volleyball Federation, a post he has held since 1997; as well as the Chairman of Magwe Football Club since 2009.

Steven holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the Yangon Institute of Economics, Myanmar.

A firm believer in continually improving himself personally and professionally, Steven sets the bar high for Asia World Company with the same approach.

At the heart of many of his projects lies his personal goal to improve the lives of the Myanmar people, as well as his dream to take a local Myanmar company to the international stage.
