Lorenzo Caliendo

Associate Professor of Economics, Yale School of Management

PhD in Economics, the University of Chicago. Masters in Economics, Auckland University. Research Fellow at the NBER, the Cowles Foundation and the Jackson Institute for Global Affairs. Previously a Research Fellow at the IES-Princeton University and Lecturer at the University of Chicago. He received two Uruguay National Prizes in Economics (UDELAR-ACADECO). Performs research on the determinants of the trade and welfare effects of commercial and migration policy, and how foreign trade competition affects the organizational and wage structure of firms. His research has been published in top academic journals and covered by leading media outlets.
