Louise Koopman Goeser

After working for almost a decade at Ford, and a previous experience in important international companies such as Westinghouse and Whirlpool, in 2009 Louise Goeser became CEO of Siemens Mesoamerica (which leads the operations for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean).
She is Board Member of Talen Energy Corporation, MSC Industrial Direct Co. Inc. and Seguros Monterrey New York Life.
Louise graduated from the Pennsylvania State University and obtained an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh both with highest honors. She became an expert on control and statistical analysis, knowledge that she applied at Whirlpool when developing quality programs, and later at Ford where she joined in 1999 as Global Vice-President of Global Quality.
Louise is an active sponsor of Mexico, a country where she perceives great business potential. While at Ford she attracted investments of more than 5 billion dollars, creating 12,000 jobs. There she also consolidated Ford into the Top 3 companies in the Mexican automotive industry, and transformed the Hermosillo Manufacturing Plant into one of the most modern in the world.

At Siemens, she has more than tripled the top and bottom line while positioning Mexico in the forefront of the company’s investments. In the last 3 years Siemens has invested nearly 100 million dollars annually, mainly for Research and Development Centers and plant expansions.
