Maitane Garcia

Maitane García became an Industrial Design Engineer in 2014, the ERASMUS+ program gave her the opportunity to develop her Final Degree Project in Lisbon, now she is a Fado and Portuguese lover. She has been working in the European Marketing Center of a Japanese multinational enterprise for the last three years. She quitted her job in 2019 and she has started doctoral research related to new product and service development based on patient experiences, nowadays she is also a lecturer in Mondragon Unibertsitatea; this one, part of the biggest cooperative corporation of the world, MONDRAGON CORPORACIÓN. She is a Type 1 diabetes patient, last year she enrolled in a women team where they together climbed to the Everest Base Camp. She loves swimming and she spends her spare time in the allotment, between tomatoes and ladybugs. She speaks Basque, Spanish, Portuguese and English.
