Maithreyi Seetharaman is based in London and has been an international financial and economics broadcaster for 16 years, Ms. Seetharaman covers political macro economics and creates the show Real Economy, which recently completed its fourth season on Euronews NBC, where she serves as anchor and executive editor. Ms. Seetharaman is also Co-Chair of the Fortune MPW International Summits; in this role, she also represents Fortune MPW in the U.K. and Europe. Previously, Ms. Seetharaman was co-host of CNBC’s Squawk Box Europe and Capital Connection, and she anchored Worldwide Exchange and European Closing Bell. She earlier served Bloomberg Television in both New York and London, as an anchor and stocks editor. Before joining Bloomberg, she was a prime time anchor for CNBC TV18 in India and a reporter for the National Financial Daily and The Financial Express. Ms. Seetharaman holds two master’s degrees in international relations and also journalism.
