He has previously worked with consulting firms such as Bain & Co. & KPMG where he specialised in themes such as healthcare & ESG.
At HealthQuad, Manan works end-to-end from deal evaluation to deal execution and portfolio management with an aim to increase accessibility, affordability and quality of care in India. Having evaluated deals across sub-segments of healthcare such as health-tech, biotech, med-tech and healthcare delivery, Manan has gained deep insights into the challenges faced by the healthcare industry in India, a country where still close to 50% of the population lacks essential healthcare services.
He has also worked extensively on disruptive healthcare models using AI and technology and comprehends the opportunity that these advancements bring to the world. Due to his deep understanding of AI & technology, he helped craft the 'Healthcare Innovation In India' report between HealthQuad & Bain & Co. where he provided his insights on the scope of development of this field. He also works extensively with the Managing Partner of HealthQuad, Mr. Charles-Antoine Janssen, an affiliate of the World Economic Forum as well to specifically evaluate the impact driven by the investments made by HealthQuad owing to Manan's background in social impact.
He understands the tangibles & intangibles of social impact due to his experience with the Global Shapers as well as due to the multiple social entrepreneurial projects that he undertook during his university days across healthcare and climate change. He has been affiliated with social impact since he was 12 years old as he and his sister worked with several underserved schools in India to teach elementary math and science to young students. He is extremely passionate about SDG 3 - Good Health & Wellbeing and remains an active member of 2 sub-projects in Global Shapers, Gurugram Hub where he focuses on improving physical, nutritional and mental wellbeing of people while also undertaking a difficult challenge to increase organ donation and pledging in India.
Manan's dedication to promoting collaboration, pursuing sustainable investments, and supporting robust technological models reflects his belief in cultivating a community where unity and innovation are instrumental in laying the foundation for the future.
