Secretary, HIV therapy guidelines for adults and adolescents; Deputy then Asst then, 2006, Acting US Global AIDS Coordinator. 2006-09, led implementation of President Bush's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief; principal investigator for clinical and basic research for US and int'l protocols with emphasis on HIV therapy; Asst Surgeon General and Rear Admiral, US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Currently, Exec. Director, Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria; concurrently, Managing Director, Office of UN Special Envoy for Malaria, and Senior Counsellor, Global Business Coalition on HIV, TB and Malaria.
