Markus has taken on a new challenge and has joined Oerlikon as Regional President APAC in October 2022.
Markus has a mechanical engineering background and has over 25 years of experience. He started his career with Siemens AG in 1997 and has held various management positions in different countries such as Germany, UAE and Indonesia. In 2014, he assumed the position of President & CEO of Siemens Limited Thailand (Myanmar & Cambodia & Laos). He served the German-Thai Chamber of Commerce as a member of the Board of Directors and was re-elected to the maximum term as President.
Markus has served and continues to serve as a director of several companies in Asia Pacific.
