Marta Pinheiro

Board Member, Instituto Rodrigo Mendes

Marta Pinheiro is a dynamic leader with a strong track record in innovation, strategy, and social impact. As a former Partner and Director of Banking Services at XP Inc. — the financial institution that revolutionized Brazil’s investment market by democratizing access for thousands of people previously excluded — she played a key role in the creation of Banco XP. There, she led the development of new businesses and products that generated 10% of the company’s total revenue within just three years. She was also instrumental in advancing the ESG agenda in Brazil’s financial sector.

Marta was named one of the 100 Young Global Leaders by the World Economic Forum in 2023 and one of the 50 Most Impactful Women in Latin America by Bloomberg. She holds a degree in Business Administration from FGV-SP and previously spent nearly a decade in consulting, working with leading national and international companies.

Currently, Marta serves as a board member at two high-impact social institutions in Brazil: Instituto Rodrigo Mendes, focused on inclusive education, and Estímulo, a microcredit fund supporting small entrepreneurs.
