Masooma Kadhem

Impact Officer, Manama Hub

Masooma Kadhem is an independent consultant specializing in strategic communications and policy evaluation across the MENA region. As an Taskforce Member of the World Economic Forum's Future50 Initiative, a flagship program equipping 50 emerging leaders to embed intergenerational foresight into global decision-making, she supports 50 emerging leaders on advancing policies that prioritize present and future generations. Since joining the initiative in March 2025, she has contributed to curriculum design for foundational modules and serves as MENA Regional Coordinator.

As Outgoing Curator of the Global Shapers Manama Hub, she helped establish the legal framework for the Global Shapers Community's operations in Bahrain, positioning the hub as a catalyst for youth-led social impact. Her expertise in human rights advocacy includes founding, leading, and executing the Abwaab program, a comprehensive rehabilitation initiative that aims to support 2,500 Bahrainis through social reintegration via digital literacy, financial inclusion, and vocational training.

With over eight years of experience in government advisory and strategic communications, she has developed positioning strategies for ministers and senior officials across tourism, culture, and policy reform initiatives.

A founding member of Bahrain's Slow Food Community, Masooma's work spans governance reform, human rights advocacy, and grassroots community building. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History (Honors) from the American University in Cairo.
