Matthew Davie is Chief Strategy Officer at Kiva, a global non-profit technology company focused on bringing financial inclusion to the world’s unbanked populations. In this role, he focuses on new initiatives that bring emerging technologies to vulnerable populations, regulatory and policy engagements to enable inclusive economies, and external partnerships to expand financial inclusion efforts worldwide.

Matthew is also an elected board member at the Libra Association, a charter member of the Linux Foundation’s Social Impact Working Group, and serves as a senior advisor to ID2020. Matthew previously held senior executive roles at SEGA, Disney, and Playdom before joining Kiva.

Matthew earned a B.S. from the University of California at Davis, and a M.S. and Ph.D. in Engineering from Stanford University.
