Currently the Country Director for HEAL International, an NGO in Arusha, Tanzania that trains global health leaders and delivers sexual and reproductive health education and services in the United States and East Africa. Megan is also the Chief Operations Officer and co-founder of Inspired Ideas, a startup that builds digital solutions in healthcare and education. She holds an MS in Biology & Society from Arizona State University, and has completed research in Northern Tanzania as a USAID Research and Innovation Fellow studying HIV-related stigma and its impact on health seeking behaviors. She is passionate about finding ways to utilize technology in the health and education sectors, and has worked on projects around the globe that aim to positively impact people's health and well-being. She is particularly interested in working with young girls and women. She is an avid traveler and loves a good game of chess.
