Since she first joined the cryptocurrency industry in 2015, Ms. Demirors has been actively building investment firms; supporting and advising visionary founders at the earliest stages; and leveraging her experience and network to accelerate the growth of the digital asset industry.

Meltem Demirors is the Chief Strategy Officer of CoinShares, a financial services firm in London and New York that focuses on alternative assets, starting with digital currencies. CoinShares builds investment products and financial services that provide clients with a trusted, secure, and simple way to participate in the growing digital asset ecosystem, and manages $1B in assets. Demirors oversees the firm’s corporate strategy and manages its proprietary investments portfolio. Over the last six year, she has invested in over 150 companies in the digital asset ecosystem, starting at Digital Currency Group, then via her own investment firm, and now at CoinShares.
