The goal of Ehn’s COALA five-year project is to better understand the generation, evolution and life-cycle of organic particles in the atmosphere.
He studies how compounds generated by nature and human action evaporate into the atmosphere. His research seeks to describe organic particles in a completely new way, using the latest mass spectrometry technology.
