Molka Abassi is an Economist by training currently working at Mckinsey & Company Dubai office as a Public and Social Sector consultant covering several MENA countries.
Prior to this, Molka used to work for the International Labour Organization (ILO), a United Nations specialized agency in Geneva on next Global Wage Report (GWR) edition, one of the organisation’s flagship publications. The forthcoming GWR is going to focus on studying Gender Pay Gaps on a global scale. Molka also interned in 2016 at the Global Relations Secretariat division at the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in Paris where she mainly worked on topics related to women economic integration, SME promotion, and public private partnerships fostering in the MENA region. Her interests include youth and gender empowerment, labour, entrepreneurship and education. Molka holds a MSc in Economics from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland and a MSc in Development Economics from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom.
