Monica Ibrahim is the communications manager at HarassMap, an Egyptian initiative aiming at ending social acceptability of sexual harassment.

Monica is also a Cairo-based reporter who is published in several local and international media outlets: The GlobalPost, Scripps Howard, Shorouk newspapers and others.

She is also the winner of the GroundTruth international fellowship to report on youth unemployment. Monica has previously worked as a news producer for the CBC news channel.
