Muhsin Mufti works with the United Nations World Food Programme as the acting head of the Logistics Sector in Nigeria. Muhsin begun his career as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer back in 2012. He soon transitioned to working with the humanitarian and development sector and has since played several roles across a wide range of projects.
Starting as a Logistics Officer, Muhsin grew to manage several humanitarian projects leading teams of up to eighty staff members and managing budgets of millions of US dollars. Muhsin is currently the acting head of the Logistics Sector in Borno State which is responsible for the movement of all humanitarian cargo from Maiduguri to other parts of the state and to other states. He is also an active member of the Safe Access to Fuel and Energy working group in Borno State. Muhsin is also a strong believer in self-reliance and financial independence and has investments in agro-allied products and clothing.
Muhsin completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Bayero University Kano and MSc in Renewable Energy Engineering from Cranfield University.
