Myrto is a Drug Safety scientist and Medical Writer in the pharmaceutical industry from Thessaloniki, Greece. Her background is in Biology (Aristotle University of Thessaloniki), and she has basic research experience in the fields of Oncology and Neurodegenerative diseases. She currently works at Pharmathen, a Greek dynamic pharma company, and has worked for Pfizer in the past, in the therapeutic area of Immunology-Inflammation-Vaccines. She has a longtime passion for civic education, nonformal learning and policy-making, and she is an alumna of the European Youth Parliament (EYP). She has held various roles within the organisation, with her highlight being her term as the President of EYP Greece (2016-2017), during which she oversaw the organisation of 3 national projects with a total of 1000 participants. She is interested in healthcare innovation, gender and social equality, and performing arts.
