Shri N. Chandrababu Naidu, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, is one of India’s most influential reformers, widely recognised for shaping the state into a global destination for technology, infrastructure and sustainable development. Mr. Naidu is also leading the development of Amaravati, a greenfield capital envisioned as a world-class, climate-resilient, digitally connected and sustainably planned city. With a strong emphasis on renewable energy, waste-to-energy systems, green mobility and efficient water management, the project reinforces Andhra Pradesh’s commitment to a low-carbon, future-ready growth model. The state targets 160 GWh of renewable capacity by 2030, supported by major clean energy investments and integrated infrastructure projects, including the transformational Polavaram initiative.
His leadership during crises—such as the rapid reconstruction of Visakhapatnam after the Hudhud cyclone—demonstrates his administrative precision, resilience and capacity to deliver large-scale outcomes under pressure.
