Nabil Hamdaoui

Alumni, Global Shapers Community

Having studied computer engineering and working as a project manager for Maroc Teleservice, Nabil Hamdaoui shifted his work orientations towards public relations and coordinating cultural events. He has worked with the National Festival for Popular Arts, Marrakech International Film Festival, U.N., Marrakech Biennale, French Institute and other institutions and events doing production, logistics, communication, animating workshops and performing (spoken word poetry and hiphop). He has been trusted to share his love for his country by accompanying many artists in their first visit to Morocco such as Kenny Rogers, The Blues Brothers and Earth, Wind & Fire. In 2014 he conducted a WebTV called 'Nabil au Brésil' through which he built a widespread audience that followed the adventures of a Moroccan during the World Cup. He started a company called biggerBANG that does brand-content and his clients are events or venues that desire to do storytelling rather then standard advertising. He oversaw the activation of all AFD events (French Agency for Development) during the COP22 in Marrakesh. He currently manages Emerging Business Factory which is the first private startup incubator dedicated to media and IT. He launched in 2017 RAK Electronik which produces and promotes electronic music events in the Marrakesh area. His motto is 'Do something you love and you'll never have to work a single day in your life'.
