Nabila Ramdani is a Paris-born freelance journalist of Algerian descent who specialises in French politics, Islamic affairs and the Arab World. She writes columns for The Guardian, The Observer, The Independent, London Evening Standard and the Daily Telegraph. She also produces features and news stories for various other Fleet Street publications, including the Sunday Telegraph, Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, and Sunday Times. Nabila contributes to a variety of Middle Eastern outlets, including Newsweek Middle East, The National, Gulf News, Daily News Egypt, The Gulf Today, Al Jazeera.Net and The Majalla magazine. Her work also appears in U.S. and French newspapers such as the New York Times, Le Parisien, Marianne, L'Express, Le Monde and Le Figaro. Nabila is a political commentator for numerous programmes for the BBC, Al Jazeera, Canal +, Sky News and others. She is a winner of the inaugural European Muslim Woman of Influence (EMWI) Award 2010 and a Board Member of the Franco-British Council.
