With Ooredoo: 1992, expert adviser from the University of Qatar; 1994, involved in the introduction of the first GSM service in the Middle East; 2002, Ooredoo Group Board Member and Advisor to the Chairman of the Board. Ooredoo CEO 2002-2015; spearheaded Ooredoo's transformation and growth from a single operator in Qatar to a leading regional and global player. Member of the Board of Directors, GSM Association. Chairman, GSMA Foundation; Commissioner on ITU Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development; Member of the World Bank Group Advisory Council for Gender and Development.
