Neal Pollard

Neal Pollard is global Chief Information Security Officer of UBS AG. He is also adjunct professor at Columbia University, Georgetown University, and Fordham School of Law. Prior to joining UBS he was a partner at EY, where he led cybersecurity consulting services primarily for financial services clients. He was also a partner at PwC. Before his consulting career, he was an intelligence officer in the U.S. counterterrorism community, serving managerial and operational assignments. He was also Board Director and General Counsel of the Terrorism Research Center, a corporation he co-founded in 1996. He holds a number of academic affiliations, including Board Director of the Cyber Conflict Studies Association, senior non-resident fellow of the Atlantic Council's Cyber Statecraft Initiative, and member of the Council on Foreign Relations, where he was an International Affairs Fellow. He holds a B.Sc. in mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, an M.Litt. from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. He is based in New York City and Zurich.
