With Dow: former positions in R&D; Public and Government Affairs; and Operations; currently, Chief Sustainability Officer and Corporate Vice-President, Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S); global leader in sustainable business practices, EH&S management, and public policy platforms for global sustainable development; led Dow’s 2025 Sustainability Goals development, which aim to help chart a new course for business in global sustainable development. Member: Council on Foreign Relations; International Olympics Committee Sustainability and Legacy Commission; CEO Advisory Board, Procter and Gamble; Committee on Global Policy and Government Affairs, National Academies of the USA. Chairman, Green and Natural Infrastructure committee, WBCSD; Trustee, Erb Family Foundation. First business representative to the High Level Group of the GEO-6 global environment assessment, United Nations Environment Programme. Member, Financial Stability Board’s Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures. Co-Author, Sustainability and the U.S. EPA (also known as the Green Book). Active in advocacy for individuals with disabilities; supports community and professional theatre, including The Purple Rose Theatre in Chelsea, Michigan. Recipient of numerous awards and honours.
