Nicolas Ducimetière

Vice-Director, Martin Bodmer Foundation

Holds an MA in History and MA in Modern Letters. Ducimetière was curator of the 2004 Barbier-Mueller Museum in 2013, presenting for the first time to the public the jewels of this important poetic library at the Mignonne exhibition, "let's see..." (Bodmer Foundation and Chateau de Chantilly), accompanied by a book of the same name (Hazan, 2007). He is a member and secretary of the board of the Barbier-Mueller Foundation for the Study of Italian Renaissance poetry (University of Geneva) since 2006. Author and scientific editor of several books and articles on the poets of the French Renaissance (including poets, princes & collectors [Droz, 2011]), he also held several scientific commissions. Awarded the knight in the Order of Arts and Letters in 2010. He has been deputy director of the Martin Bodmer Foundation since 2012.
