High school student, Ontario, Canada. Founded first Amnesty International group at his school at age 12; spearheaded community concert which raised nearly C$ 1,500 for Amnesty's Stop Violence Against Women Campaign; led eco-human rights fair, showcasing local businesses that promote environmental sustainability and pursue ethical practices, such as promotion of fair trade products.
Headed Celebration Week. President, one of the most active Gay-Straight Alliance's in Canada; 2008, named Centre Wellington Youth Citizen of the Year; nominated by community for Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year award. Active in youth work, education, human rights, children's rights, environmental issues, poverty relief.
