Nour is a passionate political science graduate with 5+ years of experience in the field of climate Justice. She is currently a Master’s student at the Interdisciplinary European Studies Programme at the college of Europe in Natolin where she specialized in the field of Climate and energy.
Before then, she worked as a Research and Development Assistant at the environmental social enterprise Banlastic Egypt where she empowered young people in the field of climate action where she has conducted over 50 sessions to more than 300 young people all over Egypt .

In March 2024, She became a member of the Rule of Law Youth Network under South programme V of the Council of Europe and the European Union where she is working with young people, from 13 other countries, on tackling environmental corruption using a gendered lens .

In 2023, she worked as a consultant with GIZ Egypt where she contributed in the development of the Future Green Jobs in Egypt report as well as the Future of the ICT jobs Report in Egypt. In this regard, she conducted interviews with over 17 experts in the field and investigated the potential opportunities and challenges to women participation in ICT jobs.

Additionally, she designed and implemented an incubator supporting 30 young Egyptian women with the skills to empower them to open their own green enterprises.

Furthermore, she is an active member in many regional and international networks like the climate reality project, EU Jeel Connect, YOUNGO, and the Major Group on Children and Youth.

Last but not least, she has contributed in amplifying the voices of young people in climate action through many conferences and fora, like the Lisbon Forum, the Euro-Med Summit, and COP 27.

Ultimately, she strives to consolidate her study of politics and her knowledge about climate change in a way that creates effective, inclusive , and gender sensitive policies to combat the climate crisis.
